Wonder Stuff- "Red Berry Joy Town" |

I was bored so I took this quiz. I got 14 out of 25 correct, without cheatin'...
The average person only gets 7 right.
This is based on U.S. info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can
be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us
really see!
There are 25 questions about things we see every day or have
known about all our lives. How many can you get right?
These little simple questions are harder than you think-- it just
shows you how little we pay attention to the commonplace
things of life.
Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around! No
getting out of your chair! No using anything on or in your desk or
computer!
Can you beat 20?? (The average is 7) Write down your answers
and check answers (on the bottom) AFTER completing all the
questions.
REMEMBER - NO CHEATING!!!
BE HONEST!!! That means no looking at your phone or anything
on your desk...
Then, before you repost this, change the
number on the subject line to show how many you got correct.
Forward to your friends and also back to the one who sent it to
you.
LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE. - If not, just
have fun!

Another night at Coleman's with josh and the circuit city crew, funny- ass night too. I was pretty mellow as usual, maybe I should change it up one of these nights and just be totally out there like I know I can be. Oh well, my brother is coming in town tomorrow to hang out for a few days so I'm sure he'll want me to go out with him. If anybody actually reads this then give some feedback or something or I'll probably just ditch this journal thing, nobody is around anymore anyway.

Well I've been drinking but I was the designated driver so I had to cut myself off and watch everyone else get drunk. Don't get me wrong I had a great time but still, it could've been sooo much better. Something about drinking makes me feel guilty about shit even if it has nothing to do with tonight. Like I have been a complete asshole when it comes to keeping in touch with friends. Lets see, I keep in touch with Josh but he's my best friend so I don't know if it counts. But then there's Crystal and my friend Jacquie, whom I've been friends with for years. And I haven't spoken to either of them for a long time, especially Crystal. I've been thinking about it and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I really have nothing going on in my life right now and it's kind of embarrassing when you're catching up with someone to say "well I'm a loser and I'm not doing shit with my life, oh and no I don't have a girlfriend or even a girl who is interested" ya know what I mean? Ehh, oh well it's probably just the alcohol talking, whatever... goodnight!

[29 Mar 2005|11:40pm] |
Actually I've been back for over a week now but whatever. So here's a brief review of my trip...
Anchorman is a hilarious movie, the more I drink the more I become my brother, eating food that has fallen on the ground is a BAD idea, if you live in Baltimore you spend most of your time driving, King Belvedere ROCKS, but belvedere vodka sucks, and finally: Baltimore is fun.

Yeah so tonight was a pretty weird night, I got home from work around 10:30 and was ready to just settle in and call it a night when I got a phone call. Some friends of mine wanted me to meet them downtown, eventhough I should've gone to bed I decided to not be anti-social for once and go hang out. Anyway we were getting bored at the bars and one of my friends decides that just HAS to dance, which I do not do by the way, so I figure whatever if he wants to go to a club then I'm down. We go to the matrix and the guy stops me and says I can't go in with a hoody on. I was just gonna go drop it off in my car when I hear "Andrew?... no he's cool he's like my brother." I look up and I see this girl and I know that I know her but the name is slowly coming to me. It was my childhood friend Rene, whom I haven't seen since december '97 when her older brother passed away. The thing is our families were so close that I thought we were related when I was a kid. But before I could talk to her she went in the club assuming I was coming in but my friends didn't wanna pay the cover charge just to go in for 15 minutes, so we left. It was just one of those mind-fuck things because when her brother died it was like my brother died, and all of those feelings came back in that same moment of excitement when I realized who she was. I really wanted to ask her how her other brothers were doing and her mom and stuff, people that I haven't seen in years but were once so close to. It all just seems like a dream, it happened that fast. Maybe I'll go back there, I don't know if she works there or just knows the bouncer, either way I really want to just catch up with her and see how her family is doing. Well I got some friends coming over so I gotta go. Man, what a weird night.

Well I went to vegas and I've come back, thats it. Nah I'm just kidding I had a great time, lost some money then I won some, then I lost a lot, but ultimately I broke even-ish. So Las Vegas is fun, if you ever get a chance to go I suggest you do. Other than gambling I also saw The Amazing Jonathan, a comedian/magician who is hilarious, I've seen him before on comedy central so that was cool. Oh and my brother and I walked by a celebrity in Caesars Palace... Who? you ask. None other than the X-to the-Z Xzibit, yeah that rapper from pimp my ride walked right by us. Were just walking through the casino and my brother just casually said "hey look, it's xzibit." I laughed thinking he was being sarcastic then I looked up and said "Oh... it is xzibit." That was interesting I guess. So we got back home friday morning called the rest of the family over and ate turkey and all that stuff. I was so friggen beat, never ever take a overnight flight home unless you the kind who can actually sleep on a plane and apparantly Im not one of them. On the way down we got to watch spiderman 2 on the plane which was cool but on the way back they played cinderella story which was horrible, what sucked even more was that I WATCHED IT! Lets just say it's not oscar-worthy material, I mean how the hell am I supposed to believe that hot girls have real problems, give me a break. What else... Oh yeah my brother moved to Maryland the day after we got back- forever. He had planned on it for a loooong time now but he finally did it. As soon as he gets a job and gets settled out there Im gonna start looking into going out there with him but I gotta wait to see whats happening with school and shit first. So thats really all gotta say about that, I'm 21 now and I can legally go out drinking and stuff but it probably helps to have friends to go out with. Whatever, I can just drink at home I guess.

Hey y'all it's my birthday and I'm drunk. I feel bad because Josh was gonna take me out tonight but for some reason I thought he said tomorrow night. But I told him that I'll take him out when I get back from Vegas. Oh well at least people remembered it was my birthday, well everyone at work did, oh and crystal gave me a call this afternoon. As I said I'm drunk so if you said happy b-day to me and I didn't remember than I thank you, much obliged. thank god for spell check.

Unfortunately we won't be home for turkey-day and my sis has gotta spend it with our aunt and everyone without us, but she does get the house to herself so all is well. So again, I feel I must say VEGAS... 2 WEEKS!!!!

Have you ever had something weigh so heavily on your mind that you started to feel sick? I remember back when Bush announced that we would be going to war with Iraq many people started to bring up the issue of reinstating the draft. At first I just thought it was an interesting thing to bring up, but soon it started to become very clear that it could... and might actually happen. I somehow managed to ignore that whole issue until just recently, as election day got closer. Both Bush and Kerry stated that they had no plans to bring back the draft, Bush's people even went as far as saying that they wouldn't reinstate the draft even in a worst case scenario. Neither candidates denial eased my mind because it was quite obvious that they simply didn't want to admit that they will bring the draft back so close to the election, unless they were complete morons. Anyone who looks over at our troops in Iraq can see that we don't have enough people over there to carry out... well, whatever the hell it is that Bush is trying to accomplish. So, while both Bush and Kerry sternly declared that there will be no draft you have to wonder, where are they gonna get the thousands and thousands of troops they say that they need? It really doesn't take a genius to figure it out. I'm just about to turn 21 so I'm in that ideal age group to be drafted, so naturally this issue has peaked my interest to say the least. This is truly one of, if not THE, scariest times to be alive... especially if you're a young man in America. I know that I'm probably coming off as an absolute pussy but I just don't believe in fighting, I mean if I agreed with why were over there... hell, if I even KNEW why we are over there, then I might not object to it so much. I know myself, and I don't believe that I have the physical, mental, or the emotional attributes to even hold a gun, let alone shoot at somebody. But I think that the scariest part of it is the absolute helplessness of it. The fact that if you're old enough and healthy then you have NO say it what becomes of you, they put a gun in your hand and they tell you where to go... basically where you're gonna die. The whole thing is very unnerving and surreal. I guess the only thing I can do is just go on as normal, if it happens then it happens, there really isn't anything that I can do about it

What is it about coming home from work at 3 in the morning so damn lonely. Ya know, you come home and everybody is asleep or out and you just don't have anybody there. Thats pretty much life in general, either you are alone and wanting somebody or you're in a relationship wishing you could get out of it.
So its been a long time since I posted in this thing, one would think that I had a life but sadly my situation as yet to change, for better or worse. But I WILL be going back to school in january so I'm looking forward to finally getting back in the game. I don't think that I've ever actually wanted to go to school in my life, if only I had realized how important education really is back when I was in high school. My sister is starting her senior year of high school and she knows what college she wants to go to and is working hard at it. I mean she's joined extra curricular activities and everything, I'm really proud of her, I guess after seeing what losers her two brothers are really motivated her to do something with herself, so at least my failures will have served some kind of purpose.
I just realized that its 9/11, I won't go on and on about it because what can I say that hasn't already been said. I just hope that everyone out there will at least have a moment of silence, even if its just privately to yourself.
Well thats it for this post, Buh-bye.

So I got this album by this girl(listed above) and it's pretty gosh-damn good if I do say so myself. And for only 10 bucks, good music, cheap, can ya ask for a better deal than that? I submit that you cannot!
I was just watching the best of Will-FUCKIN-Ferrell and my eyes are still welling up from laughing my arse off to no end. I just know it's gonna be one of those things where I'll be out somewhere and I'll suddenly burst out with laughter just thinking about it, consequently looking like a fool.
Lately my brother has been talking about moving to Baltimore, which is what he was talking about this time last year, something about July gets him amped up I suppose. So, just like last year, he wants me to move there with him someday, but as I said this whole scenario was discussed last year and nothing came from it. So we'll just have to wait and see. I've been thinking about going back to school though I suppose there's really nothing to think about, I GOTTA go back! Plus Josh and I have been planning on finding a place around here so the Baltimore thing doesn't sound to likely, although It sounds REALLY fun and I'd love to go too.
Oh well, got some decisions to make but nothing to complain about, how the hell can I complain when I actually have choices in front of me? In a nutshell things are going good, saving up some dough, coasting around on fumes, still jammin away and still hopeful for what's next.

"the finale" - Danny Elfman |

Just got back from fahrenheit/911, it was pretty good, but I've always thought that michael moore was kinda full of his own perspective and not so much the whole truth like he'd want us to believe. There were some horrible footage of u.s. soldiers being killed and I just immediately was reminded of how grateful I am that Josh is home for good, if you can name any god, goddess or any other kind of idea of fate or a higher power, I've thanked them all for that.
But lets move on to lighter news, oh wait I don't have any news to report at the moment but i hope to have some interesting stories or newsflashes to write about in the near future. Until then just keep this journal somewhat interesting by telling me what you're up to. Go on, you know you wanna.
